The Squarace Board game combines the fun of Ludo with strategic elements of chess in a coherent manner. Both Ludo and Chess exist in their earliest forms for long and for almost 1500 years, for the first time ever these games are combined in a way that players can have a totally new experience in a familiar setting. A knight will move two and a half squares (i.e., two vertical and one horizontal) for every number on the dice. For e.g., if it’s 2 on the dice, the knight will move two and a half squares, two times. A bishop will move one square, diagonally only, either on black squares or on white squares, depending on the square it is chosen to be initially opened, for every number on the dice. For e.g., if it’s 3 on the dice, the bishop will move three squares, either black or white, depending on where it is. A rook will move one square, vertically (V) or horizontally (H) or a mix of both, for every number on the dice. For e.g., if it’s 4 on the dice, the rook will move four squares, either 1H-3V, 4V, 1H-1V-1H-1V, 1H-2V-1H, or any such combinations as the player wish to. A queen will move one square, vertically (V) or horizontally (H) or diagonally(D), or a mix of all, for every number on the dice. For e.g., if it’s 5 on the dice, the queen will move five squares, either 1H-4V, 5V, 5D, 1H-1V-2D-1H, 1D-3V-1H, or any such combinations as the player wish to.
