This Curie Robotics Kit comes bundled with a LIVE 3 DAYS WORKSHOP (designed in consultation with Professionals from the field of Research, Engineering and Child Psychology) on INTRODUCTION TO ROBOTICS AND CODING dealing with the concepts and technology behind it and much more. Smart Development Board based on ArduinoNANO board, which can be programmed using ArduinoIDE. (2) Do-It-Yourself kit with all the components interfaced or can be connected by using a plug and multiple sensors including IR, RGB LED, Buzzer and a 2 Wheeled Acrylic Chassis. (3) Assemble & Program multiple projects: Object Follower Robot : Follows any object in front of it using Infra Red (IR) sensors | Obstacle Avoidance Robot: avoids any object in front of it, dodges it and reroute itself | Line Follower Robot: moves on a black colored track designed by the child using simple markers or a black colored tape. The bot moves on it in loop or till the end of track | Edge Avoidance Robot : retracks itself while moving towards edge | Light Following Robot : follows light when shown in front of it using LDR sensors by detecting intensity of light. Control using objects around you, example : a mobile phone torch (4) Reprogrammed by using Simple Text Commands as well as Drag & Drop coding and thus introducing the child to Coding. (5) The final assembled product would teach a child the working of multiple sensors, motor drivers and give them an idea of circuitry, thus exposing them to the basics of Robotics and instill curiosity within them to explore it more. It helps to keep a child productively engrossed by learning practical Real World application (6) Powered with rechargeable batteries which comes with the kit, there’s no end to the fun of making tracks and letting the bot free on those. Multiple tracks for the bot can be designed by a child using her/his own imagination and hone their creative skills.
